Shoppers at Six Major UK Retailers Warned Over Urgent Fruit Recall

Thirteen ready-to-eat fruit packs sold by six major UK retailers have been recalled after testing detected possible Salmonella contamination. The affected products were supplied by Prepworld and carry use-by dates of June 23 or 24, 2026.

The warning applies only to the named products, pack sizes and dates—not every fruit item sold by the retailers. Customers should check packaging carefully and avoid eating any matching pack, even when the fruit looks and smells normal.
