“Red Meat” Fell From the Sky — A Bizarre Mystery That Left Everyone Stunned

On March 3, 1876, large pieces of flesh reportedly fell from the sky over Olympia Springs in Bath County, Kentucky. The incident happened near the home of Allen Crouch, while his wife was outside making soap. The sky was described as clear, and the falling material was said to look like beef.

The strange event became known as the Kentucky Meat Shower. Some pieces were found on fences and scattered across the ground, with one chunk reportedly measuring around 10 centimeters square, while many others were smaller. The mystery became even stranger when later tests suggested the material was not imaginary, but actual animal tissue.
