UK shoppers are being told to check their refrigerators after Prepworld recalled 13 prepared-fruit products sold by Asda, Morrisons, Tesco, Waitrose, M&S and Sainsbury’s. Testing identified Salmonella in apple and kiwi used in the affected packs.

The listed products carry use-by dates of June 23 or June 24, 2026, but some may still remain in homes. The Food Standards Agency says they must not be eaten and should be returned to the retailer for a full refund.
