Polish Energy Giant Plans 14 Nuclear Reactors Across Britain

A Polish-led consortium has unveiled one of the largest privately proposed nuclear investments in British history: a £35 billion fleet of small modular reactors capable of supplying electricity to millions of homes.

The announcement is significant, but construction has not yet been approved. SGE must secure sites, government revenue support, investors, an operator and project-specific regulatory permissions before its first reactor can begin generating power.
