Full List of Countries Currently on the UK Foreign Office ‘Do Not Travel’ List

The UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office currently flags 74 countries or territories with advice against travelling to all or part of them. Updated on 29 June 2026, the list covers risks including conflict, terrorism, detention, kidnapping and infrastructure disruption.

Not every country below is completely closed to British travellers. Eleven carry a nationwide “against all travel” warning, while others contain specific no-go areas or fall under the lower “all but essential travel” category.
