Inside the £365k Chinese Bus Soon Coming to UK Streets

Chinese manufacturers have already reshaped Britain’s electric-car market through competitive pricing, long equipment lists and rapidly improving technology. Higer now hopes to apply a similar formula to public transport with the Azure 12, a full-sized electric city bus being introduced through Harris Bus & Coach UK.

The Azure has already appeared at UK industry events and could eventually enter service with British operators. Yet its real significance depends on more than acceleration and headline range: price, charging infrastructure, passenger capacity and aftersales support will determine whether it becomes a serious rival.
